Emergency Regulations for Opioid Emergencies: California Pharmacists and Naloxone (CE 1 Hour) Objectives: 1) Review the epidemiology of opioid overdose morbidity and mortality. 2) Understand the evidence for recognizing risk factors for an increased risk of opioid-induced respiratory depression 3) Appreciate the history of AB-1535 and the emergency regulations adopted by the CA Board of Pharmacy 4) Appropriate use of Naloxone 5) Route of administration and available products
